‘Choreography Left The World’: Ishaan Khatter’s Dance On BTS’ Song Mic Drop Leaves ARMYs Unimpressed

Bollywood actor Ishaan Khattar has been making the headlines for the past few weeks for his performances in the Netflix series The Royals, which was recently renewed for a second season. He also recently went to Cannes 2025 for the screening of his film Homebound, which also stars Vishal Jethwa and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. Amidst praises for his acting performances, he took the Miss World 2025 finale stage by storm as he showed off his dance moves to the audience. The event was held in Hyderabad.

As videos of his dance performance flooded social media platforms, he left the internet divided. According to a report by News18, he danced to a medley of songs at the event, including K-pop boy band BTS’ iconic track Mic Drop. While a few fans went gaga over his moves, ARMYs, BTS’ fans, were left unimpressed as he didn’t perform the original choreography of the song. Netizens rushed to the comment section of the Instagram post to share their opinions on it.

One wrote, “Dance ki puri vat laga di.” Another wrote, “Choreography left the world.” One said, “BTS be like — wait it’s our songs…okry .he is doing well maybe. Meanwhile jhope – ai shi**l. Where the steps.” Another said, “Esse achcha army hi karte.” One commented, “Bakwas performance.. Jin is coming with pink slippers.” Another commented, “Are dance karna nehin aa raha to gana hi change kor lete ish gane ki choriograph bigad ne ki jarurat hi nehin hai.”

Thailand’s Opal Suchata Chuangsri was crowned Miss World 2025 during the prestigious event, which was held on May 31 at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad. As the winner, she received the prestigious title from outgoing Miss World 2024, Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic.

On the work front, Ishaan Khattar was last seen in the Netflix show The Royals, co-starring Bhumi Pednekar, Sakshi Tanwar, Zeenat Aman, Vihaan Samat, and others. He will be returning in season 2. On the other hand, his film Homebound, which premiered at the 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, has been taking the internet by storm.
