The Traitors: Here’s How Raj Kundra, Karan Kundrra & Others Were Evicted From The Show In First Three Episodes

Having been released on Prime Video, the first three episodes of The Traitors has taken the internet by storm. Hosted by Karan Johar, the reality show stars well-known personalities from the Hindi entertainment industry, including films and television, as well as content creators and social media influencers. The maker dropped the first three episodes of the show on Friday. In the initial three episodes itself the contestants were quick enough to ‘betray’ their friends and co-contestants so that they could survive in the game.

In the episodes, it was seen that around four to five contestants marked their exit. One of the first ones to mark his exit was Sahil Salathia, who was evicted by three Traitors Raj Kundra, Elnaaz Norouzi, and Purav Jha after they decided to end his journey on the show during the first elimination round. The next one to leave was Shilpa Shetty’s husband. Being one of the three traitors, the businessman got eliminated during the round table session.

While the contestants had gathered to guess who the traitor was, Apoorva Mukhija adamantly stated that it was Raj. He confessed to being a traitor after she brought forth strong evidence through pointers explaining her decision. He exited the show after the majority voted against him. Post his eviction, the two remaining traitors decided to evict Lakshmi Manchu after a long decision.

The next one to be evicted from the show was actor Karan Kundrra. It was during the Round Table discussion that he was accused of being the Traitor, and after the majority voted against him, he bid goodbye to his co-contestants. However, after his departure, it was revealed that he wasn’t the Traitor, which left everyone shocked.

Nikita Luther, who was evicted by Elnaaz in the first episode itself, returned on the show as a wild card contestant during the third episode. Her return has left everyone in shock. It will be interesting to see if her entrance gets Elnaaz Norouzi and Purav Jha in trouble. Will she take revenge on them for evicting her from the show?

Talking about the show, the concept of The Traitors is simple. 20 celebrities have been taken to an isolated place where three traitors from the 20 contestants will be selected during the game. While the viewers will know who the traitors are, the contestants won’t. According to the rules, the selected traitors will then have to pretend to be innocent, all the while “murdering” the innocent contestants. Every week, one player will get killed and their photo will be dropped by Karan Johar from the wall of players. The contestants will have to gather around a trust table, discuss and lock their answers on who they think are the three traitors.

Released on Amazon Prime on 12th June, the makers will release 3 new episodes every Thursday at 8 pm. Hosted by Karan Johar, the winner of the show will reportedly stand a chance to win a prize money of Rs 1 crore.
