Soha Ali Khan Recalls Being Flashed In Italy In Broad Daylight; Says, ‘What Is Their Motive? I Don’t…’

Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan might not have made a name for herself in the industry as an actress, but she has surely made a life for herself. She recently even started her own podcast show titled All About Her, where she has interviewed celebrities like Malaika Arora, Sunny Leone, Pratelekhaa, and Smriti Irani. In a recent candid interview, she opened up about her own experiences, where she recalled being flashed in Italy during the day and shared that she hasn’t faced casting couch because of her family’s influence.

Remembering that day in Italy, she revealed that something like that happens quite often. Talking to Hauterfly about it, when asked if she had ever been flashed in public, quoted by the Free Press Journal, she stated, ““In Italy, yes. Apparently that happens often. But in broad daylight? Yeah… What is their motive? I don’t understand that. We don’t want to get into their heads to understand.”

The 46-year-old actress went on to state that she understands the privilege and protected life she comes from. Khan went on to point out that there are women who take local transport and have to face such incidents every day.

In the same interview, when asked if she had faced casting couch, like many other actresses who have opened up about their experiences, she denied it. Revealing why, she stated that maybe it was because her name was attached to her mother and brother, Sharmila Tagore and Saif Ali Khan.

Quoted by the media publication, the Rang De Basanti actress said, “Somewhere, this privilege, where you belong to an industry family, maybe because of that, I was spared. Everybody felt that there’s Saif, there’s Sharmila ji. Maybe because of that. But I really haven’t had any experiences like that. Thank God for that.”

On the work front, Soha Ali Khan was last seen on the big screen in Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer Chhorii 2, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video earlier this year. Despite receiving an underwhelming response, audiences and critics hailed her performance. She is currently busy with her chat show All About Her.
