Baaghi 4 Box Office Collection: Tiger Shroff’s Film Earns ₹12 Cr On Day 1, Fails To Surpass Baaghi 2 & 3
Tiger Shroff’s latest action thriller, Baaghi 4, starring Sanjay Dutt alongside him, hit theaters on September 5, but its opening day performance has fallen short of the franchise’s previous highs. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 12 crore on its first day, a decent start but lower than the opening figures of Baaghi 2 and Baaghi 3.
The film, directed by A Harsha and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, was screened in approximately 4,000 shows across India, with Delhi NCR and Mumbai hosting the most at 943 and 717 shows, respectively. Occupancy rates were modest, averaging 28.32% for the day. Morning shows saw 22.16% occupancy, afternoon shows 22.37%, with evening and night shows slightly higher at 27.51% and 37.23%, respectively.

For comparison, the film’s first installment which released in 2016, directed by Sabbir Khan, opened at Rs 11.85 crore. Baaghi 2 (2018) had a stronger start with Rs 25.1 crore, while Baaghi 3 (2020) collected Rs 17.5 crore, though its run was cut short by the pandemic lockdown. Baaghi 4’s Rs 12 crore opening surpasses the original but lags behind the sequels, raising questions about its ability to match the franchise’s earlier success.
The film faced stiff competition at the box office. Param Sundari earned Rs 41.6 crore, Lokah Chapter 1 grossed Rs 64.45 crore, and The Bengal Files opened at Rs 1.75 crore. Hollywood’s The Conjuring: Last Rites also outperformed Baaghi 4 with Rs 18 crore on its first day. Meanwhile, War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani, has dominated with a total Indian collection of Rs 236 crore, including a massive Rs 52 crore opening day, dwarfing Baaghi 4’s performance.
