Abhishek Bachchan Turns Into A Dotting Single Father In Remo D’Souza’s Film Be Happy; Announces Release Date

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan’s much-awaited dance film with Nora Fatehi has finally got a release date. On Wednesday, the actor took to his official social media handle to announce the film’s release date, and its streaming platform. Sharing the cute poster of Be Happy, he revealed that the film is all set to stream on Prime Video from March 14. Directed by Remo D’Souza, apart from Bachchan and Fatehi, the movie also stars Inayat Verma in the lead role and Nassar, Johny Lever and Harleen Sethi in supporting roles.

For those who don’t know, Abhishek and Inayat have worked together in Anurag Basu’s film Ludo (2020). Their bond during the film was lauded by the netizens and many wished to see them together on the screen again. Well, it will be interesting to see if their bond differs from Ludo in the upcoming film.

According to various media reports, the film beautifully intertwines the love a family has for each other, the power of dreams and resilience of love. It is a heartfelt tribute to the unbreakable bond between a father Shiv (Bachchan) and his daughter Dhara (Verma), who aspires to perform on the stage of the country’s biggest dance reality show. However, an unexpected crisis threatens to shatter her dream, which leaves Shiv feeling determined to keep her dreams alive.

Opening up about the film, Remo expressed that Be Happy is a passion project for him and his wife Lizelle Remo D’Souza, who has produced the film, as it celebrates the special bond between a father and his daughter through the magic of music and dance.
