Fact Check! This Mystery Woman Is Not Diljit Dosanjh’s Secret Wife; Former Reveals Her Real Identity
Amid the release of his new film, Amar Singh Chamkila, Diljit Dosanjh has found himself embroiled in a peculiar controversy. The actor-singer is known for keeping his personal life away from the media. However, rumours and speculations emerged claiming the singer has a ‘secret wife’ and even a kid.
Amid these rumours, a few pictures of Diljit Dosanjh with a ‘mystery woman’ went viral on the internet. Fans started claiming that the woman in the pictures is Dosanjh’s secret Indian-American and wife named Sandeep Kaur. The woman behind the pictures has reportedly spoken up and cleared the air.

She shared a lengthy post on Reddit to reveal her identity as an actress who has worked with Diljit Dosanjh. She wrote, ” A while ago I worked as a model and did a music video shoot called “Shoon Shaan” for the movie Mukhtiar Chadha with Diljit Dosanjh. Ever since then, somehow or the other, I was made aware by friends and relatives that my image was being used maliciously to be ‘Diljit Dosanjh’s wife’ on the internet.”

She slammed such rumours and even asked netizens to report any account that claimed her to be Diljit Dosanjh’s wife. ”At first I laughed it off as I had no idea how this happened, and I did attempt some take-down requests across YouTube and Quora. Never did I think the image would remain so pervasive for so many years,” she wrote.
She concluded, ”I just want to clear the air that this picture is of me and I am not Sandeep Kaur. I don’t want to doxx myself any further.”
She also replied to the netizens’ curious questions about her interaction with the Punjabi singer. To this, she wrote, ”Him and I kinda hung out on the sets since we had a couple days shoot together, and the director (Gifty) was nice as well. Diljit was super funny and kept everyone in a good mood, sweet and didn’t speak much English (at the time)! 10/10 nice guy, professional, and fun to work with. Glad to see him get to the level he is at today”.
