Govinda’s Wife Sunita Ahuja Says Son Yashvardhan Is Doing ‘Better Film’ Than Saiyaara: I Want Ki Sab…’

Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja have been in the news recently due to rumors of their divorce. Last week, reports claimed Sunita filed for divorce in December 2024, citing adultery, cruelty, and desertion. However, Govinda’s manager and their daughter Tina Ahuja denied these claims, calling them false. Amid the divorce rumors, Sunita spoke about her son Yashvardhan Ahuja’s upcoming Bollywood debut, Ahaan Panday’s hit film Saiyaara, and Rasha Thadani’s debut film.

In a recent interview with Eat Travel Repeat, Sunita responded to fan comments on social media. One fan wrote, “Yashvardhan itna handsome hai. Saiyaara mein usse hi hona chahiye tha.” Sunita replied, “I wish. But usse better picture kar raha hai Yash.”

She mentioned she hasn’t watched Ahaan Panday’s debut film Saiyaara yet, but her son Yashvardhan has seen it twice. She said, “Maine abhi tak dekhi nahi hai. Yash ne do baar dekhi hai. Main dekhungi, mujhe dekhna hai. But abhi 14 tareek ko shayad aa raha hai naa Netflix pe (laughs). But good good. Best of luck to all the kids who are coming up. And I want ki sab bachhe khoob naam kamaye.”

When asked about her connection with Rasha Thadani, Raveena Tandon’s daughter and a fellow star kid, Sunita said, “Yash ke saath hai uska. I have not met her still, like ‘met her’ met her. But Raveena ne mujhe phone ki thi, trial mein aane ke liye. Main Jaipur mein thi, Khatu Shyam. Main pooja kar rahi thi. Toh I told her I couldn’t come. But maine theatre mein jaake dekhi picture, achhi lagi mujhe. She’s a sweet girl. Raveena ka bachpan yaad aata hai.”

Ahaan Panday became a star with Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, while Rasha Thadani won praise for her debut in Azaad. Yashvardhan Ahuja is preparing for his Bollywood debut in a remake of the Telugu film Baby (2023), directed by Sai Rajesh.
