Samay Raina Touches Farah Khan’s Feet In India’s Got Latent’s Unreleased Episode, Amid Ongoing Controversy

Comedian Samay Raina found himself in trouble after content creator Ranveer Allahbadia asked the controversial ‘Would you rather’ question on his comedy show India’s Got Latent. He had allegedly asked a contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex for the rest of your life, or would you join in once and stop it forever?” The outrage over the question compelled him to delete all content related to the show from his YouTube channel.

With FIRs constantly being filed against Samay, Ranveer, Apoorva Makhija AKA The Rebel Kid, and other content creators for their involvement in the show, the Supreme Court on Tuesday barred them from airing further episodes of the show until further “notice.” Amidst it all, a clip from an unreleased episode of the show is currently going viral on social media featuring Farah Khan, Uorfi Javed, Tanmay Bhat and rapper KRSNA.

In the clip shared on Instagram, in December 2024, Raina is seen greeting them as they arrive on the stage and take their seats. While he welcomes Tanmay, KRSNA, and Uorfi with shake hands and hugs, as the Tees Maar Khan filmmaker arrives, he bends down to touch her feet as a sign of respect. In her signature style, she playfully goes to hit him. The video is going viral on the social media platform with the netizens reacting to it.

For those who don’t remember, the Maharashtra Cyber Cell had registered an FIR against Samay, Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Mukhija and others for promoting obscenity and vulgarity online through the former’s stand up show India’s Got Latent. The content creators had come under fire after their disrespectful comments caused an uproar on social media.

After maintaining silence over the entire controversy, when it seemed like things wouldn’t settle for a long time, Samay Raina took to his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle to inform his fans that he has deleted all India’s Got Latent episodes from his YouTube channel. Sharing his side of the story, the comedian added that his only objective was to make the audience laugh and make sure that they had a good time. “I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you,” he concluded.
