‘Sana Is A Female Chauvinist,’ Ranvir Shorey Slams Bigg Boss OTT 3 Winner For Calling Him ‘Male Chauvinist’
The dust from Bigg Boss OTT 3 hasn’t settled yet, and actor Ranvir Shorey finds himself at the center of a brewing storm. Fresh off the heels of the show’s finale, accusations of sexism and male chauvinism have been hurled his way, most notably by the winner herself, Sana Makbul. In a recent interview, Sana didn’t hold back, labeling Ranvir with a title that stung.
Weeks later, during an appearance in an interview, Ranvir finally addressed these accusations. His response, however, wasn’t an apology. Instead, he surprised viewers by turning the tables on Sana. With a glint in his eye, Ranvir countered by calling Sana a “female chauvinist.” He went on to elaborate, detailing specific instances throughout the show where he felt Sana’s behavior towards him crossed a line. The drama continues to unfold, and the war of words between Ranvir and Sana is just heating up.
Ranvir slammed the OTT winner and said, “I believe Sana is a female chauvinist. You only get respect when you give it to others, being a girl is not a license to misbehave and be unapologetic. When she told me something, I gave it back, so now she shouldn’t be crying over me disrespecting her.” He further delved on how the two gelled well earlier and shared a bond. He added, “Initially, we got along very well, I used to lovingly call her Pookie. I felt really bad about commenting on her lips but I didn’t know the dog incident. It started on a good note, but later when our fights began she would twist the topic and that caught on.”
Ranvir Shorey confessed that he never encouraged holding on the fights and always tried to clear the air. He went on to add, “I tried to clear the air about me being against her, but she kept twisting things. One blatant example was when she clearly hinted at being the baharwala to Vishal and didn’t own it up later. She didn’t have the grace to apologize. There are a lot of women I respect, I don’t need to prove it to her. She brought up my son in the middle of a task and this was after she knew that we were not getting along. I hoped she would apologize, but she gave me attitude instead.”
Earlier in an interview with Big Boss OTT 3 winner Sana Makbul, bashes at the actor and accuses him of practicing male chauvinism. She said, “Strong women are not appreciated and he is one of those male chauvinist kind of a person who doesn’t like it if women do better than him. I don’t want to say anything about him. I have buried it all. I don’t hold any grudge against him. But if he does that, it is his way of dealing with things. When I stepped out from the Bigg Boss house, I let the bygones be bygones. It’s all over for me.”
Further reacting to Sana’s accusations of Ranvir getting intimidated by strong women, the actor said, “How would she know? She is not a very strong woman. She doesn’t know what a strong woman is.” The Bigg Boss OTT 3 second runner-up also shared how the contestants never had any major complaints with him. It was all personality conflict, “A lot of them had preconceived notions, I never did that. They came with the idea to fight,” Ranvir added.
