Shah Rukh Khan’s Met Gala Debut Look Receives Praise From Amul In Signature Style: ‘The Worlds Most…’

Shah Rukh Khan etched his name in history as the first Indian male actor to grace the Met Gala. Adorned in a black suit by Sabyasachi, complemented by striking jewellery, SRK embodied the essence of an icon. His appearance sent social media into a frenzy, with fans flooding platforms with photos and videos. Among the standout reactions was a creative tribute from Amul India.

Amul marked SRK’s Met Gala moment with a vibrant Instagram post featuring an illustration of the actor. In classic Amul fashion, Shah Rukh is depicted holding a buttered toast in one hand and the stylish cane from his Met Gala look in the other. The text on the image declared, “India’s biggest Galakaar,” with the added note, “Always in fashion.” The caption accompanying the post read: “#Amul Topical: Shahrukh Khan attends the world’s most prestigious and glamorous fashion event!”

At the Met Gala, SRK’s all-black ensemble was a masterclass in elegance and craftsmanship. He wore a long coat crafted from fine Tasmanian wool, paired with a black silk shirt and tailored wool trousers. A pleated satin kamarbandh added a subtle traditional flair to the modern silhouette. The true showstopper, however, was his jewellery – layered necklaces adorned his chest, including a prominent diamond-studded ‘K,’ a bold nod to his moniker, King Khan.

In an interview with TIME, Shah Rukh reflected on the significance of his presence. “It’s important to represent my countrymen and people. India is taking a stand in a lot of things and it’s important to have our presence felt,” he said. He also expressed admiration for the 2025 Met Gala theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, noting its deeper resonance. “I liked what it stood for – the concept of revolution and resolution, not through anger or fighting, but by being exuberant and artistic. Dressing up in a way that made a statement,” he explained.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for King, where he will share the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film features Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma in key roles.
