On Monday morning, Bollywood action star Vidyut Jammwal shared photos from Sydney, Australia, posing with rapper 50 Cent and WWE star Cody Rhodes as he begins filming his first Hollywood movie, Street Fighter. Vidyut posted three pictures on Instagram, taken on what looks like a yacht in Sydney. He is seen with 50 Cent, Cody Rhodes, and others. Describing the moment, Vidyut wrote, “In the company of warriors, I find my tribe. #streetfighter.”

Street Fighter is an upcoming American martial arts film directed by Kitao Sakurai, with a script by Dalan Musson. It is the third live-action version of the popular Capcom fighting game series and serves as a reboot of the film series. The movie stars Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji, Jason Momoa, Roman Reigns, Orville Peck, Callina Liang, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Andrew Schulz, David Dastmalchian, Cody Rhodes, Hirooki Goto, and Vidyut Jammwal, who will play the character Dhalsim.

While the plot of Street Fighter is being kept secret, casting updates have been announced frequently. David Dastmalchian will play the villain M. Bison, Orville Peck will portray Vega, Callina Liang will take on the role of Chun-Li, and Andrew Schulz will play Dan Hibiki. They join the already impressive cast, including Andrew Koji, Noah Centineo, Jason Momoa, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.

The Street Fighter game series, launched in 1987, features one-on-one fighting matches between various martial artists. The games often focus on a global fighting tournament organized by M. Bison, the leader of the evil group Shadaloo. According to deadline.com, the game has sold over 55 million units worldwide since its debut.
